Encryption
All traffic runs over TLS 1.3. Records are encrypted at rest, and database backups are encrypted with separate keys.
Access control
Each pharmacy is a separate tenant; no account can read another's records. Staff see their own site, managers see the whole account, and every action is written to an audit trail.
Records are append-only
A saved measurement cannot be silently rewritten. Corrections are stored as a new entry linked to the original, with the author and time of the change, so an inspector always sees the full history.
Backups and recovery
Encrypted backups are taken daily and retained for 30 days, with restores tested quarterly.
